Eleuthera

Eleuthera, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other, is over 100 miles long and up to 3 miles wide at its widest point, with a population of approximately 15,000 people. Development has not yet marred this beautiful Bahamian family island. There are no malls, high rises or traffic jams. Life moves at a leisurely pace here.

Eleuthera possesses some of the most spectacular pink and white sand beaches in the World, with sheltered coves and dramatic cliffs reaching up to 70 feet above sea level. Settlements with pastel-hued cottages and white picket fences, spilling over with hibiscus and bougainvillea, dot the Island from one end to the other. With the deep blue waters of the Atlantic to its east and the clear, warm shallows of the Bight of Eleuthera and the Bahama Bank to its west, Eleuthera offers great fishing as well as other fun activities to keep non-anglers happy.

Eleuthera has it all-- classic sand flats, beds of turtle grass, and plenty of beaches, bays, cuts and channels. Many of the good fishing locations are so stunning they could be on a postcard, and are suitable for families, spouses or significant others. And while there are many remote flats and beaches to explore, you are also never that far from quaint villages, great restaurants, a few shops & art galleries and other amenities that will please non-anglers. (sorry-no casinos, malls or mega-resorts)

Unique Village Hotel and Villas is just a 20 minute ride from the island's main airport in Governor's Harbor. This beautiful resort sits on a spectacular stretch of beach that runs for miles. It is comprised of 14 units - 10 hotel rooms, and two 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villas and two one bedroom apartments. The villas and apartments have fully equipped kitchens and all units offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Rooms are cleaned daily. Everything is taken care of: all you have to worry about is catching bonefish!

ELEUTHERA CRUSOE PLAN: ($875.00 pp, dbl occ.) Includes 7 nights lodging at Unique Village Resort, our informational package on fishing the island & all taxes. Meals are not included, but you can dine out at one of the many excellent restaurants. We can assist with truck rental. You pay for your flights, food, vehicle, gas, and alcohol.

Cook in your own kitchen or dine out at the excellent restaurants nearby. We can assist with truck rental. You pay for your flights, food, vehicle, gas, and alcohol.
